Bring Jose Matada Home-the Man Who Fell From the Sky

In September 2012, the body of an unidentified man fell from the undercarriage of a British Airways plane as it flew over London. This man was 28 year old Jose Matada from Mozambique who had stowed away on a flight from Angola bound for London. He was probably dreaming of a better life but tragically it resulted in his death.

Until now his origin and identity were not known, but Jose's mother, Eugenia Ndazwedjua, and his older brother, Paulino Domingos Matada wholive in Maputo in Mozambique, recently came forward. They had learned of Jose's tragic death from a local newspaper but were devastated to find out that it will cost £7,000 ($11,500) to fly his body back home to them. This is money they do not have, but you can help!

Jose is currently buried in an unmarked grave in Twickenham, West London and it is heartbreaking for his family to know that they may never have him home again. Please donate whatever you can to help raise money to bring his back to Mozambique so he can be buried in his homeland.
